George Lucas was considered the most (LGBTQ+) "friendly" person of that generation for having all sorts of "creatures/peoples" within the Star Wars Series showing that all people no matter their appearance should be able to get along.

He was considered a liberal progressive for doing this.

In actuality he was explaining what the universe would like if we did make contact with "persons" from other solar systems.

They've now taken it too far because it was already FINE back in the 70s and 80s

Too much of a "good" thing can become a "bad" thing.

Like I said previously LGBTQ+ peoples are the minority not the majority and it being projected to young kids as the MAJORITY plays directly into the confusion they feel. If schools normalize this and make the world seem like it's a big teddy bear and everyone loves them for "who they are" they will be ill prepared for the "real world". That's the heart of the problem. Tell a kid it's ok to be gay and he thinks everyone is gay but then when he becomes an adult he realized most people aren't gay and he was lied too.
