My thread topic wasn't intended to be literally "democracy" as a technical term. If communism means we can have the America we had 10 years ago, so be it.

My point is that the leftist party is intending to rule forever, and their policies are antithetical to what made this country great. If they have power forever, America will be destroyed within a short time.

It is not in the interest of the political party in power to allow another to take over their rule.
