Thats informative since you are living there and experiencing it first hand.
Well Concord's Pronouns is basically now Was / Were
There is also a misconception of immigrants being criminals or some violent thugs going to Europe. Their transport costs between 4k-10k dollars per person which is outrageously expensive for 3rd world countries. They are not sending their poorest but actually the best from the rich families in the hope of a better life and to get that money back that was invested in them. The problem isn't them, it's our government letting everyone in unchecked. It's always easy to lash out at people for perceived problems as the cause but what has an average moslem who works here everyday to do with some nutjob who is radicalized on German soil by radical priests allowed by German gouvernment? If they go out of their way and kill someone in a stabbing, how are people responsible for that and not the police or the government? Why does the government tolerate and allow priests to radicalize youth over here? Should moslems act like police in a democratic country and attack other moslems for their radical views?
See, that's a can of worms.
In case of the US, South Americans who are not families are smuggled exactly for the organized crime activities. Venezuela is suffering a lot economically, expect the streets in the US to become very dangerous soon. I was told lots of them started violent gangs in Peru already. Peru isn't seen as a safe tourist destination anymore.
