if the latter, i try to read, like, when looking for info, often coming across posts that be like "RTFM" (meaning read the manual rather than being spoonfed the information)
but since it's a part of the forum for discussions, might as well provide that information if you have it

like, i can read that you're in UTC-4 meaning most likely on the east-coast of the USA, like NY/NJ or something like that
my concerns regarding technically illiterate candidates comes from a place of concern for outside the USA
the push for SOPA/PIPA were under american blue which were concerning for people even outside of the USA

imo in 2020 tulsi gabbard would have been a very decent choice, a real shame the defamation campaign ran against her by clinton but somehow the biden/trump were the only 2 choices? dont really make no sense but whatever
for over a decade now the digital world is a big part of our society for everyone's daily lives
germany / switzerland finally moving over to opensource software such as libreoffice rather than word or whatever for their governmental infrastructures

you arent going to find many people that arent gunning it for their "teams" here, i think there will be a debate at some point, but it will likely just be them both spouting random nonsense to fire up the voter base, because the debates arent even debates anymore

even "debates" and discussions in here be like never talking about actual policies (which i did mention a few...) but just rather being like "that one bad cuz this or that", literally never policies and when the word "policies" is mentioned, it's just that, just the word, not the actual content of those

that's the issue of "red vs blue", "us vs them" and "if u not with us then u against us"
the whole system is meant to actually divide people into 2 factions, while it's always more nuanced, very often people gunning for one side would actually agree with people gunning for the other side on actual policies
