On eschatology:

I'm a lay Protestant theologian but I do not think about eschatology - it feels to me like nonconsequential intellectual masturbation. Not that it's not a legitimate element of theology to consider, just that I don't clearly understand it's value yet. Always happy to hear people's well thought out viewpoints though!

That's not the point, the point is the people in charge who are running the show believe in this plot line and that's why they molded public perception for that to be the events playing out.

That's fair, my comment here was just about the discipline of eschatology in general

That with the gift of Intellect given by the taking of fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, man will become god.
I personally believe that the Mouse Utopia experiment is what the exhortation by god/nature amounts to, that the end outcome is ye will surely die.

My interpretation of Satan vs Lucifer is that they are both names/aspects for same the being - Satan being the aspect of wrath and destruction, and Lucifer being the aspect of pride and deceit. On *his* right hand is wrath and destruction, and on the left pride and deceit. This is contrasted with our Lord on who's right hand is justice and order, and on the left mercy and patience.

I admit I'm not very educated in Freemasonry - I'll look into this with your provided info. I agree with the inevitable conclusion of considering ourselves God (as the wage of sin is death), this gets into more eschatology which I don't know as well.
