this post is pretty ironic.

political people wanted the courts to take out trump, for political reasons, because they failed to do so politically.

the court basically said "you have political ways to unseat a president, leave the courts out of it".

and your takeaway is that the courts are too political.

Presidents should not have immunity all their remanining life.
Trump was not president when a court handed down a number of convictions regarding January 6.

presidents dont have immunity all of their remaining life. i dont think you understand what this decision means.

it gave presidents immunity for acts they commit as president, only while they are president.

also this didnt grant them that immunity, it was decided they always had it. it has never been challenged before.

to use a historical example Andrew Jackson signed orders to round up every single native american in the USA and forcibly match them to reservations. this decision means that if someone had said "that's illegal" and tried to charge jackson for it they couldn't have.

Yes, the is the consequence of this decision: the president can literally steal your crop in front of you 1 minute before signing out and you can't do anything.

This is broken.^_^

no, they cant. there are limits to what is an "official act" and it's not defined by the president saying its official. they're also not immune to civil court prosecution, which if you've been paying attention is where a lot of murder, rape, sexual assault, etc cases end up rather than criminal court.

Organizing murder that's it:

On January 6, 2021, during a rally at the Ellipse, Trump urged his supporters to "fight like hell" and march to the Capitol, where the electoral votes were being counted by Congress in order to formalize Biden's victory.

charging for incitement would have failed, but charging for murder is laughable. you've gotten to the NPC part of your responses quicker than hitler took paris.

Besides the fact you are overlooking and not quoting every other part of the speech is one thing. But imagine thinking one man should be held liable for the actions of another.
