Easiest way to win vs Trump is to put a new face in the running with Biden stepping down prior to any election. The shorter the notice, the better as the swing voters will go for anything new. I predict the same thing will happen in Canada as well.

It's an easy out and people don't want the devil they know. As someone here mentioned, the public has a short memory. The unprincipled voter would love to forget about Biden and Trump

Traditionally people won't vote for someone they don't know anything about.
The general American public barely knows anything about trump or biden as-is.

It would be an absolute lose situation if they replace Biden now.
They need to prop Biden up and get his numbers up.

Name recognition is basically everything, and its the only reason RFK jr is even a candidate capable of influencing this election.
Two big phenomenons in elections are a recency bias and name recognition. If people don't know who the fuck someone is, they'll vote for the name they do recognize. And they don't vote based upon anything but the last month before an election or so, even if they were were put in a gibbet for 3.9 years and fed shit they only care about the last few weeks. Biden has plenty of opportunity still to get his numbers up and regain control of this election, but doomsaying democrats could become their own self fulfilling prophecy if they cut out from under him

Seems too suspicious that Biden is suddenly being recognized by left leaning media outlets as unfit for office. Appears to be grooming for the inevitable and dialectic outcome.. highlight the problem while providing the answer. If he's not fit, he's not fit. How do you argue with that?
