The thing is, most radical groups that wound up with US weapons didn't trade for them or get them down the food chain, they were given to them directly by us.
We gave weapons to Sunni radicals in Iraq and then again in Syria to fight Assad, and those groups just happened to be Al-Qaeda/Al-Nusra and the nascent ISIS. As the country collapsed into a power vacuum while Assad's control shrunk, ISIS established a caliphate enforced with their control of US weaponry. We had to fight yet another proxy war to stop them. Now we have been giving weapons to Nazi radicals in Ukraine. And since the Zelensky regime depends entirely on western backers, if that money faucet dries up, there will be a predictable power vacuum.

British and Americans had no moral dilemma cooperating with Nazis in the 1930s. US didn’t actually condemn Nazis killing the Jews (Jessie Owens didn’t mind getting his gold from the hands of a Nazi in August 1936 Olympics while Nazis were already exterminating die untermenschen in a nearby Oranienburg located 30 minutes drive from the Olympic Stadium in Berlin). My best guess is that US actually enjoyed the influx of cheap, despaired, desperate and educated labour force (Jewish and European) streaming out of Europe and propping up US economy at the time.

US was hoping Nazis would make quick work of the communists so they could split spheres of influence. All of that changed in the crucial first week of December 1941 when Barbarossa plan essentially failed and Japan attacked Pearl Harbour which made Germany declare war on the US (which they didn’t need to under their Tripartite with the Japanese as Japan attacked first). US then reluctantly declared war on the Axis.

In the Ukranian conflict Azov and the Ukranian far-right were publicly supported by US Senators like McCain as well as multitude of NGOs like USAID and NED.

What makes you think they should they grow up a conscience now?
