depends on the definition. i have like 3 close friends that spiraled from opioids to heroin, then eventually got off heroin. a few more extended friend group people that never got clean, afaik, but none died. i dont know anyone who's died by fent tho.

as to covid i had 2 family members that died of covid (to be fair, both elderly that died within a few weeks of "recovering" from heart issues they didnt really have before), and 1 co worker that died directly of covid. also maybe 5 or so people i know by the same degrees of separation from above that were hospitalized or died from covid.

Have no known opioid issues among family or friends and no known significant COVID issues other than the regular symptoms that would have come with the flu. Lucky I suppose.

About the same for me. Maybe one person died with strong COVID illness and one relative would have died. The opioid deaths are hard to track, some people from my graduating class have mysteriously been found dead and obituary not clear on cause. A couple I find out later overdose cause dealer sold them fentanyl laced drugs without them knowing.

Anyways, we will probably never have good statistics on it with medical industry spanning* over both situations

They probably had weak constitution. In my life, no one who contracted covid died.

yes, they were elderly and my co worker was 300 lbs. who cares? there are millions of elderly and MANY millions of people who are fat.

i know an eldery couple whose friend got the jab and dropped dead. they then had the fear of covid and fear of the jab and locked themselves away. i should call them......
