Fox News was founded in 1996. The majority of people in PARD were born in the 80's or prior. We haven't been watching Fox News our entire lives because it didn't exist. Most of the appeal of Fox News was that it was the one network that questioned the narratives the other outlets were in lockstep for. Fox News now appears to also be in lockstep. Pro war, pro globalism, pro censorship, anti individualism. So it's only natural that people transition to the next media format that questions the people in power, rather than promotes them.

can we get tl;dr on these videos? the premise here sounds interesting but 40 goddamn minutes?

This one is the same old kind of stuff.. profit over health. Obesity or whatever problem, often don't really address solutions when there is higher profits and therefore interest in something else. . doctors receiving money from pharma companies rather give recipes for whatever weight loss cures, pills they're told to push (that in this case they talk about some common one having caused a lot of stomach issues in the us)... instead of telling patients simple logical stuff such as they need to regularly exercise, eat good food, create better habits etc... You know, we've heard lot of this type of stuff with the labrona scamdemic nonsens, which of course also is briefly mentioned.
