I looked into some random research paper and its conclusion was interesting. It basically stated that democrats just happened to perform better than republican presidents in the elements related to the economy primarily because of the rends of the time, etc. I think this might potentially be correlated to the concept of why people want to be more liberal versus more conservative, and its more of a emotional pick rather than a fiscal one.


This other paper made another connection that a democratic president and a republican senate correlated with the data as to the best results for the economy

A great lesson here is to read the abstract and a conclusion when ur lazy and just want some random references to use as pivot points in a conversation.
Truly, it does seem that Presidents themselves don't have a big impact on the economy, but rather the senate/house.
Just an assumption on some random papers from some geeks in big name colleges, though
