Process of child bearing and child birth forever alters the body.
Hormone production changes which can have detrimental effects on mental health (postpartum depression and associated trauma), hips widen, body naturally acquires more fat which is more difficult to get rid of for women, you get stretch marks and slipped disks which can stay with you your whole life.
So mental health & physical changes.
These are things that abortion may be protecting women's bodies from?
What happens if the woman is already suffering from mental illness, is fat with stretch marks and has slipped disks?
Does the abortion protect their body then?
At what point in the pregnancy can their mental health possibly decline, How can an abortion protect them from that, if it's already happened.
If their hips are widening and they are gaining fat, possibly slipping disks.
How does the abortion protect their bodies when these things have already taken place.
If Abortion isn't protecting women's bodies.
Wouldn't
Abstinence be
a more effective solution at protecting women's bodies?
Because right now, the argument in this Debate is.
""Abortion protects woman's bodies from potential death, potential mental health changes and potential physical changes.""

they should put that same warning on Twinkies.
Twinkies may make you fat, depressed and if you eat enough kill you.

What about the mental health decline of women who have had an abortion.
For many women that is a life scarring event.
How is abortion protecting their body then, when it is in fact harming their body.
(by your own words, their mental health)
