When you "realize" your "self" and that you are "God" and that you and this "God" were never separate and it was only a thought away you feel so foolish because it was you and your own EGO/MIND that separated you from that "oneness".

My definition of "God" has changed over time because I was raised Catholic and told "This is God" only to study all religions and realize they are all talking about the same "God" just calling it by different names.

"God" to some people is an all powerful being who judges you at death and decides where your soul goes. To others God is just "All of existence in it's full totality". That's why some philosophies say "God is nowhere" and others say "God is everywhere". Neither is right. Neither is wrong.

Yes God lives within all things because nothing is separate only the mind creates separation. Only the human mind created this "God". No other conscious living thing acts for this "God" only people who have accepted a religion act in the name of a God that to any other conscious living thing "if it could speak" would say "we are all just acting if there is a god then god is the fabric holding everything together" because nothing is separate. Oneness is the secret of everything.

Language is a great barrier as you mentioned. A useful tool in every other regard but none the less a barrier and in some cases a weapon when used maleficently.

When my family asks me about "realization" and "enlightenment" I have to explain that it can only be experienced by YOU/YOURSELF. There are no words in the English dictionary that can explain the "feeling" and the "experience".

If you ever here someone say "I am a realized being" or "I am enlightened" they are lying. When you shed your ego and drop the name given to you at birth and only dwell on God and give all of your energy and being to God you become that.

This is why in Hinduism people chant the name of a "God" all day every day because they don't believe they are different or separate. My guru gave me two names to chant OM Sri Ramakrishna and OM Jesus Christ. If you go about your working day and only chant this and this alone you will become "one" with God. It allows you to go through an otherwise mundane existence knowing that you are God and that you are experiencing this reality "consciousness" through that.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience, not human beings having a spiritual experience.

The dilemma with that one is that in order to realize you are in fact a spiritual being having a human experience you first must have a spiritual experience as a human being.

That's part of shedding your Ego in my opinion and it's also easier said then done.
