Spoken like someone who has dealt with and known cops. They don't want any trouble and people wasting their time and lying to them. Be courteous, tell the truth, don't attack them. It's really not hard but people's egos get in the way

Its instinct for untermenschen to lie to police. They deal with it with scumbag lowlives every single day. Even my friends once tried to lie, instead I just told them the truth and they thanked me.

I never said that. To clarify, of course there are situations when they could lie.

However, video evidence exists. Pretty cut and dry if they have him on body cam or dash cam assaulting an officer

We already have video evidence that the cop here lied. He said he swerved to avoid a dog. There was no dog.

Dogs are small, a dashcam wouldn't see them.

And the question here is whether this gay bar owner assaulted an officer, not why they swerved.

We didn't get a dashcam. We got a street cam and there is no dog.

So the officer is already telling a lie, and the police have already reduced the charges.

Seems pretty cut and dry the officer is just telling a lie to cover his ass.

The question here is whether an officer was assaulted. Video evidence will cover this.
