People often celebrate things we might not find special, because in the past those same people would have been killed or shunned for being who they are. Not because "omg im so special because of my sexual preference'. It's a pretty basic and obvious concept, I dont understand why anyone with critical thinking skills would miss this.

Gay pride parades are never about pride. They are a tool that gays use to brainwash the public that being gay is acceptable. They especially like to encourage families with little children to attend. This is how they recruit future gays.
