the planet would 'thrive' with or without humans. The planet is fine through our wars, pollution, and extinction of animals. I just find vague Gaia worship extremely cringe.

when you say humanity is bad for the planet you have to define what that means, slightly increasing the heat is something the planet can handle for an example.
