Also worth noting that Al Husseini was exiled after the arab revolt which is when he tried to ally with the nazis for help, so he wasn't the leader of anything really, he had contacts there but he was not in control of any group. The muslims he helped recruit were largely Bosnian.
There was actually a Jewish militant group who tried to ally with the nazis as well because they wanted help to oust the British from Palestine.
