Arms sales to Israel should be conditioned on a stop of the settlements in the West Bank, and Israel should pay up. They're rich enough and unlike Ukraine, their economy isn't in the mud, so I don't see a reason why they shouldn't shoulder the cost of their own safety.

Israel will survive without aid, it did in all of its wars before.

I think we should really distinguish between Israel aid which is fully paid for by Israel, and one which is funded by the American tax-payer.
