These rockets attacks are not acceptable but I think the far right Israeli governement maintained a terrible humanitary, economical, pressure for decades and created its own terrorists... In order to get reelected.
Which is all pathetic, and now we can expect some major, asymetric response, military operation which will kill hundreds of palestinians maybe more.

What we're seeing right now is the simultaneous outbreak of numerous wars across conflict regions all contemporaneous with the most direct conflict between nuclear powers in the post-WW2 era.
Azerbaijan wiped the Armenians out of Nagorno-Karabakh mostly bloodlessly as they fled the advance. Turkey is bombing the Kurds in Syria. The last western-aligned government in the Sahel was overthrown in Niger and a standoff eventually resolved bloodlessly. Somalia is (still) engulfed in civil war and has had its biggest flareup of suicide bombings and attacks this month in the years of conflict. The RSF in Sudan is calming down. Hamas invades Israeli and a full blown hot war is breaking out right now. And of course this all comes as the Ukraine war is wintering down again.

You can't make predictions about what will happen, but you can say that future historians would point to this era of conflict as a prelude if it does. If I asked PARD yesterday whether it thought Israel and Hamas were about to go into a hot war the next day, who would actually think we're on that edge? Peace is fragile and its easy to slip into the indolent comfort of a false sense of security

What doesn’t add up to me is, Mossad is one of the top intel agencies in the world. They have their tentacles in Hamas, Iran, pretty much of their enemies, how didn’t they see this?

Something large scale like this would have had a fair amount of chatter.

This could be used as a justification for Israel to really drop the hammer on the Palestinians

If they drop the hammer on Gaza hard in retaliation, big chance other factions like Hezbollah will join in.

US will have to step in to support Israel and this might cause another 1973 style embargo.

I mean a paranoid enough Hamas could keep the invasion forces properly celled and not reveal plans until the last minute. Clearly they're adapting to Israeli methods; they overwhelmed the Iron Dome with a massive all-out missile strike by stockpiling them for this moment, and using the cover to literally fly the raiders into Israeli via paragliders during the chaos. They know how worthless their missiles have been at actually harming Israel, but as soon as they sacked a town with militants they overwhelmed the skeleton crew of IDF and massacred the citizens. It figures they've also adapted to Mossad's human informants and remote observation methods. Maybe Mossad would learn that Hamas was stockpiling rockets, but when are they ever not stockpiling rockets?

Some of us kinda smell something is up and coming. Because Anti Jewish and Israel Sentiments during the past couple years was just random trolling and teasing. But those memes and comments have went into overdrive driven by steroids.
