It's quite possible to avoid bed bugs by refusing to ever stay at a place that has ever reported them. I've done that my whole life and I'm bedbug free.

Sure as I am but I certainly wouldn't let that stop me from going somewhere. Its a harmless bug, not a "crisis". If that's our new standard for crisis we must have gotten pretty comfortable as a society and have it pretty good. Just looks like media knowing that if they add fearmongering hook woods dumb people will read it and and repost and repost.
