Not Baghdad or Kabul, but Erbil.

Mostly Kurdish, Albanian and Assyrian gangs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organized_crime_in_Sweden

Kurds were western allies in deposing Saddam and govt in Baghdad.

Turkish govt has been persistent in trying to extradite Kurds out of Sweden to face terrorist charges.

Why do you think these places are shitty?

Do you think history of Europe and those countries are somehow connected?

Swedish poogressives were eager to show the world how "good" they are by accepting hordes of unregistered migrants of all sorts that flooded the EU back in 2015

Germany knows all about it, they're in the same boat (wir schaffen das) --> migrant mass attacks on women in Cologne during 2015/2016 new year celebrations swiftly followed

Well done guys SMH

And why do you think these countries were at war for the past 100 years?

The Umayyads civilization of Iberia (and later Cordoba caliphate) left behind immaculate works of art and sophisticated cultural artifacts, far superior to those available to unwashed hordes invading them from the north.

Levantine civilization for example and subsequent kingdoms that inhabited that area were equally or more advanced compared to Roman Empire and only started to decline around end of 17th, beginning 18th century. Culminating ofcourse with Sykes-Picot partitioning of the failing Ottoman Empire. Eritrea, Somalia and Ethiopia particularly suffered bad as they were given to Italy which became fascist and exploited the land and the people.

I can go on a long tangent about history of Mesopotamia over the past 100 years culminating in an illegal invasion, but that’s throwing pearls before swine I guess.

None of these people wanted to travel to Europe or live there before. What changed in the past century or two?

not buying the REEEEE colonialism narrative, its nonsense

haiti became independent during napoleons times and is still a shithole

korea got exploited for a long time until the end of WW2 and then bombed into the shadow realm with millions of deaths

despite all that they rebuilt and stabilised pretty quickly, now they are one of the most modern nations on the planet (south ofc)

shithole countries have begun to export their overpopulation at some point, thats all this is

The shitty state of Mesopotamia can be attributed to the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate - more recently, from American invasion & wanton destruction

Which is why you have plenty of extremist groups looking to restore the caliphate - but if a caliphate was to be restored it would likely be a Saudi caliphate. But Israel is in the way - conflict is inevitable resulting in either the formation of a new Caliphate or an expanded Jewish empire state

Umayyads were way ahead of everybody at the time, which is why they conquered nearly everything

Looks like they've created a gang violence situation through poor immigration policies. Any of our fellow euros able to chime in on what's happening fhere?

I think mostly just Swedes themselves know what's happening. Denmark is afaik relatively successful. Finland has some minor signs of a potentially brewing gang problem in the capital if not adequately dealt with at this early stage. Its a multi-faceted problem, part of it is poor urban design, part of it are the conditions in the countries of origin: afaik its mostly Somalis, Kurds and to a lesser extent Arabs (from Iraq i think). Its also fueled by illicit drug use, im under the impression that cocaine has recently found a new market in Northern Europe and the ever-increasing gang violence is related to territorial disputes related to drug trade. Theres been news about middle class Swedes maintaining the demand for recreational drugs, and drug use has indeed has become more common in the Nordics.
