Nah, no scheme to show who that's who he was. That's just who he ended up being. I think ultimately that's why it was so crushing. It obliterated his ego. All those years of preaching and being this big personality of compassion and care for things and others, only to end up being exposed as a very little demeaning man. He met the definition of hypocrite perfectly and that's a hard one to live down when you spent so much time building yourself up.
Most of the screenshots are broken now in that thread so unless you were around at that time it you don't get the full picture necessarily from just the one post.
Anyways it's the internet. It's not exactly a surprise when someone ends up being the exact opposite of the personality they portray online. Probably super common.
Guy should just come back if he still enjoys jsp. But maybe he's cool just chilling in guild chat. To each their own.
