i get doctor/medical hesitancy, i personally haven't been to a doctor in over 20 years, but this is to an absurd degree.

If you need a team of doctors to tell you if someone is fucked in the head then you shouldn't be able to vote

I can tell in a second anyone over age 70 has started to mentally decline, thus why i'm in favor of term limits. but if we're not in favor of age term limits (like ghot) then we'd need an objective measure, otherwise there's no reason for an eye test or second scotus, because no one after age 70 is still doing well outside of like 1% of the population. and if you're starting to decline, and get elected for 4-6 years, that's dumb.

still dont see any good arguments for allowing 75+ year olds to hold office. 90+% of the general population is retired at that age, and no one would hire them for any job, but we want them running the country? why?

Don't you guys have the ability to vote there? Couldn't you just...not vote for the people you think are in decline? Or have them serve shorter terms? Why would you give away your right to choose your leader to some unelected council of doctors? Who chooses the doctors?

Having to even consider that sort of band aid solution seems like a clear sign that your political system is completely broken. Your major political parties would rather stick you with drooling muppets than risk the possibility of losing an inch of ground to "the enemy" in another election.

anyone that is too old to live out the consequences of their decisions should be ineligible for office, which is pretty much everyone over 65/70. forced retirement isnt a bad idea
