Hello. I know that there can be some sort of public consultation process for a new law. I wish to find out how to get involved and to give my thoughts on the development of the regulations for a laws that has recently received royal assent. Can someone give me a link or point me in the right direction please? Or even just how to google it. I googled, "consultation process for ____" but didn't find much. Thank you.

We don't really have representative democracy in Canada, laws are passed in Ottawa and if you're not there there's nothing you can do about it

America isn't a democracy, it's a constitutional republic.
We elect representatives to make these super hard choices for us, they're suppose to do what the people want.

In a democracy the mob rules. the majority outvotes the minority and only the majority are heard.
democracy is a code word for socialism. Peace is a code word for socialism.

The mainstream media started chanting "democracy" around the late 80s as a form of conditioning people into accepting it.
now most people really believe that bullshit.

There are distinct differences. I even said some of them for democracy.

Minorities aren't heard in a democracy. Why any group of minorities (and i'm not only talking about skin color) is okay with democracy makes zero sense.

You're thinking of a certain type of democracy, a republic is a different type of democracy

If you've ever seen Star Wars... the Galactic Republic was famously a democracy, as lamented by Padme
