its not a gender thing by the way, everyone has to realise that they are wrong first, then you can help them

trying something you know wont work isn't admirable imo. there's a term for it, an exercise in futility. and in reality if she feels attacked she's more likely to resist just to spite you. you could be making it far worse.

This is antithetical to how change works. There's a certain amount of hubris here.

Leave her alone. She will learn the very hard way after years of being miserable. Let it go and just enjoy your own life and have fun with people you like and who like you.
