IF he got the democratic nomination what are democrats going to do? vote trump? no. he soaks up 95%+ of the democratic voters and a small minority (like bernie bro diehards in 2016) sit the election out. he becomes the only option to stop trump. and with his anti vaxx anti swamp talk he gets some of the fence sitting centrists or anti-trumper GOP voters.
