Well exactly. Its a way of making money. The greed is there, a sin which controls the capitalists minds. Holding back quality to earn money is not a way to support art, its a way to support scam. Money DOES reduces the delivery of ART. Thats the point.

Sure, but its the consumers fault AT LEAST as much as it is the companies fault. If it works, they do it - and they would have done it at any time in history. And what can I say? It works.

Its not Sin, its business.

Yes and my point is that businesses destroying art. Its the systems fault, not the peoples. Peoples only fault is to vote capitalists over and over again, not understanding that this system works against humanity, against art.

Greed is a sin, not a business.

There is no such thing as sin.

Also business isnt destroying art, its quite different in reality. Art itself IS a big business and always was. Art Collectors are amongst the richest people in the world and it has been like that for centuries. Art was always a big business with big price tags.

Art became a business due capitalism. And due the capitalism (especially compound interest one) more and more people focus on sellable stuff instead on art itself. You cant denie capitalism has an effect on art nowadays. And thats the complete point.
If there wasnt the pressure of being economical successful, alot more artists could invest alot more time and heart into art like back in the days.

You can see at the latest games of blizzard for example. Diablo immortal? I dont think we need talk about that.
Diablo 4? Its like a use of leftovers, alot same pictures, graphics and stuff. Why? Because of economical pressure. If there were more artists available, it could have become not a remake/mix of older games.

Why do big companies HAVE to earn more and more money to stay alive? Why not invest the billions into supporting the art section instead of trying to save money where they can?

Its the greed. And most people are so blinded by that greed nowadays, that theyre not even interested in delivering art without any payment anymore.

If there wasnt that pressure, art would become great again. Blizzard would become great again.

It's not really about "capitalism" but more about the increased size of the video games industry and related rationalization of projects.
Today many games are perceived tasteless and too much "politically correct" by many hard gamers. Globalization doesn't help either.

So the increase size of gameindustry forces producers/artists to deliver crap fast to stay competitive enough to not get soaked by economical more successfull companies.
What am i talking about? Thats exactly the point. If there wasnt the capitalistic pressure, there could be sooo much more art..

Capitalism was already in place when transistor was discovered. So i would not directly accuse capitalism but more likely unregulated capitalism.
Typically: increase aid and protect small businesses and small projects, and various other changes (ie: 4 days work per week) which are requiring some kind of moderated left policies.

You are honestly too nostalgic in that regard, not seeing the current master pieces.
Tomorrow Zelda: Tears of the Kongdom releases, 2 hours ago the review embargo fell and every single review is absolutely through the roof and I watched countless videos those last 2 hours. This, my friend, is pure, honest art. A game more creative and innovative than any game in a long, long time. A 60 bucks offline experience without bugs, without any sort of MTX. Just a creative, true piece of art. It still happens.

yes ofc Nintendo is legendary, super mario 64 was HUGE aswell back in the days, godly gameplay + awesome unique music

but in this case im talking about blizzard specifically. talking about the legendary diablo II and its unique atmosphere due Matt Uelmens unmistakable music. Until today Diablo II and Wow classic are in my opinion the best games blizzard ever developed. everything what came after was not as good as expected. tending to be worse.
