i'm sorry to tell you, but you've been had. the whole "anti interventionist" / "bring our troops back home" rhetoric by trump was empty. he noticed it resonated well with his base, so he just repeated it constantly - in order to make gullible morons, who mistake campaign slogans for policy, believe he was anti war.

also, he might not have managed to start a new war, but it surely wasn't for a lack of trying. his various escalation attempts with iran nearly sparked a conflict that would have dwarfed any previous wars the US fought in the middle east. of course that doesn't go on the record, because it luckily didn't happen. just saying - and to be fair, i don't believe he did it because he desperately wanted his own war. i assume his primary motive was to destroy obama's legacy. if that's better or maybe even worse, i guess depends on your personal opinion, just mentioning it so you don't get the impression i thought trump had any sort of real conviction on the matter, one way or the other...

I don't need to watch some cherry picked video from MSN targeted at 40 somethings. For something to be illegal it needs to be summarily ruled as such by the appropriate international agency under their remit and no such vote has ever occurred for the Invasion of Iraq in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) as the United States would veto it.
