there's absolutely no chance it will happen, and from what i understand, it isn't a particularly well thought out approach in the first place. that doesn't mean there shouldn't be some kind of effort to close the racial wealth gap, which was created by blatantly racist policies, though. it's certainly a discussion that needs to happen, and the visceral and outright racist reactions of a certain group of people to this proposal just further supports that.
