Mostly Right and I don't 100% trust the FBI but they are needed.

You can not except them to be fully transparent for reasons that are common sense.

But this is like a shield that they can hide behind though. Anytime they are engaged in something immoral, or even illegal.

Hmm like what exactly?

I am not saying I have proof that the FBI is engaged in immoral stuff. I am just saying that this lack of transparency really works to their advantage.

I see. From my point of view they need to kinda be in the shadows. They can not always share the information they have. It would simply risk our safety. If criminals know what FBI is working on and how, they can act accordingly.

I know that, and I am not saying the FBI has to share everything with the public. I am just saying that this gives them a really good excuse anytime they want to do things that they know would cause public outrage. This is a huge problem for those of us who value government accountability.

FBI has a greater than 90% conviction rate if they start investigating someone.

Their favorite trick is a perjury trap. They start asking questions and they record everything. any tiny detail that changes between to times you tell the story… you have lied to the FBI, which is a federal crime.

For this reason… you should never cooperate with the FBI ever. Even if you are the person who reported the crime. When the FBI starts asking questions, you want a lawyer.
