Pedophilia is a disorder, not a crime. Abusing children however, is a crime. When I read these headlines I have to wonder are these edge cases where some homeless dude was taking a dump near a daycare in public and charged with indecent exposure, or actual cases of abuse. I can't imagine a scenario in which someone is committing a violent crime against children is released prematurely. But don't let that get in the way of your narrative. California bad! Texas Good!
