I would like to chat with you guys a little bit about neutral countries, like Switzerland or Ireland.
Why in a world of good and evil, some countries are neutral?
Its like saying "oh, I dont really care if evil wins, as long as my own house is left alone, and my house is pretty much far away from the bad guys so I'm fine for now".
3 questions come to my mind:
Isn't it selfish thinking?
Is it smart or stupid?
If the evil countries win, will they still leave neutral countries alone?

Neutral or Neutered ?

Conflicts are often between multiple sides of varying degrees of evil, not good vs evil.

Intervening often does more harm than good.

Getting your people killed and their wealth depleted in some unrelated foreign conflict is not in their best interests. It also escalates conflicts and can lead to even more death in those countries.


War propagandists claiming whatever tinpot ruler is the next hitler who wants to invade everyone is a persistent bad excuse to justify wars.

Propaganda is what makes people think wars are fought between good and evil, if you look at a conflict as good vs evil you really need to learn what the supposedly "evil" side is saying.

Pretty much this, but with the caveat that just as it is true for the individual, a time may come where self-defense becomes prudent and necessary--even if that self-defense takes place outside our borders.

If things were so simple
"all the same" "both sides" "all more or less evil" : This is the lazy and easy narrative of the one refusing to face reality beyond borders.
They are all evils who want to steal in your pockets that's right ? Lmk about Russians an Chinese govs. Ask sellouts like this Rand Paul or whatever... You would have been eaten alive !

Does anyone reading this^ still think democracy is a good system? hes drooling on himself

Democracy is an unperfect solution resulting of others systems failure (Authoritarianism, more or less statist, more or less kleptocrat etc) after revolution from their own people seeking freedom, or more freedom.

Democracy is fragile and has to handle alot of very selfish or/and not-very-smart individuals [Often pretending to have betters solutions -wich sometimes are final ones-]
