Yeah I dont imagine there will be much ground force mobilization on either side during the winter, but I don't see how the Ukrainians hold out with no fuel, I would think they will have to negotiate soon in order to get energy from Russia, no?
They have lots of support from other countries but I dont know who of their allies can supply the fuel they will need to survive the winter, especially since they don't really have a lot of buying power right now, they are dependent on foreign support.
Canada has huge oil reserves but I dont know if they could ramp up production in time or get it there, maybe a country in eastern Europe? As far as I know Russia/Ukraine were the main energy suppliers for the region, but not super well educated on that.
