This is specifically a thread for recent extremist attacks in the United States where there's a clear political motive. I don't care that this particular story has been posted elsewhere, those threads are too narrow in scope and have been derailed.

A man in North Dakota mowed down and killed an 18-year old after a political argument. He alleged that the 18-year old was a "Republican extremist" and was therefore a threat to public safety. He has since been charged with vehicular homicide and released on a $50,000 bond.

Frankly, I think it's clear that Biden's rhetoric plays a big role in radicalizing the already mentally unstable left wing of his party. When you tell your supporters that their opponents are fascists and existential threats to life, you can't turn around and act horrified when your same, very own supporters go out and do something about it.

I have to wonder whether this will be included in the 2022 ADL list of violent extremism. I'm going to give it a 10% chance.

i think we can all agree the so called “bond reform” over the past few years is not good for society. a lot of violent crimes now seem to have little to no bail requirements

From the looks of it, this seems like a case of self-defense. This is basically Kyle Rittenhouse but with a car instead. Thankfully, the precedent was set that you have a right to self-defense.

That doesn't bode well for our defendant, we all know that Rittenhouse only got off because of video evidence.

All conservatives are the enemy and will be treated as such.
Republican politicians don't count.
They are not real conservatives and are only there to give the illusion of choice.
