I understand when Texas has a once in a century freeze and has a temporary energy crisis, it is because republicans are stupid and bad. Totally understood.

That being said can somebody explain to me why California is still restricting electricity use because it gets hot in the summer? It cannot be because democrats are stupid, because they are the opposite of republicans. Right? Please help a dumb Republican voter understand the nuance here.

Probably because the lights stayed on in California and 200+ people didn't freeze to death in their homes.
