he's not sitting in jail, he's out on bail currently.
He went unfairly through the process.. I doubt he will be convicted. He is awaiting trial.

The event occurred over a week ago. He was indeed sitting in jail until yesterday. It took the intervention of the mayor, social media, and stories like that in the video above to change the course of events.

GoFundMe did indeed close down the attempt to raise bail, and is indeed preventing a defense fund. You've seen the video, you've read the story. You know Alba took slash wounds from the girlfriend. You know he didn't pull the knife until he was being choked.

The story should read, "Poor, hard working immigrant viciously attacked by jobless man and his welfare girlfriend for not giving free bag of chips, narrowly escapes with life." And the girlfriend should be in jail right now, awaiting charges.

And you don't need to plead his case to me was self defense. You acting like he got prosocuted, sitting in jail is what I commented on.
you should go to some local counties and watch the 1000 of people that lose their constitutional rights by being suspected of drug use. Drug court/piss test/random screening/counseling before EVER getting a day in court.
you do ALL that shit before you ever even step in a court room, and they will admit it is against your rights.. Good luck getting a lawyer from out of state or local to fight it. this kind of shit happens 10000 of times daily across the clearly fair justice system.
