Boris Johnson's leadership has been outlived by the queen.
He's now resigning from Tory leadership, to be replaced as PM come autumn;

So a second unelected tory PM in 5 years, why not just bring Theresa May back again for the complete troll of the public

Boris's big mistake was that he just ignored the lockdown rules like every normal person did.
Joe Biden meanwhile simply lifted the rules as an official action just before he gave his state of the union speech so everyone could hobnob maskless even though there were lockdown and mask orders in place up until that exact moment.

See this is the difference between outsiders and the true establishment aristocracy. The upstarts think the law doesn't apply to them. The king declares the law doesn't apply to him.

its not like they are totally wrong

these scumbags can waste hundreds of billions, destroy millions of livelihoods and business + additional damage with covid mandates and then ignore those same mandates with no consequences whatsoever

democracy is dead, its as you say a new aristocracy, but instead of the right blood you need the right party membership or corporate position

At what point was it functional? For that matter, at what point in the last thousand years or so was Britain anything other than a Monarchy?

I would have been tempted say he's the worst PM we've had in my lifetime, but it's actually David Cameron for austerity and the EU referendum. Boris is the second worst, since he negotiated and signed the EU deal which is ruining our economy and causing the breakup of the Union. He never had any integrity or morality, like most of the ministers and advisers he's had during his tenure, but I wouldn't have minded as much had his government not so brazingly lie to the public and treat them as fools. Unfortunately, much of the damage done to the country under the last 12 years of tory rule is irreversible, and we have transitioned from a dynamic economy in the top 10 highest GDP per capita in the world to a low wage dinosaur economy. Successive populist governments are spending more time fighting culture wars than enacting good policy, but at least our passports are blue and we use imperial measurements
