The US does not need gun control. They need crazy people control. If they had their way and got rid of guns, crazies would just use baseball bats and knives to kill.

The gun-grabbing left never truly care about stopping crimes. If they did, they would call for the banning of all manner of things that can be used to commit crimes. Cars, homemade explosives, knives, even rocks and pointy sticks. All of these things can be used to seriously harm a human being. But they never advocate banning those things, because they don't truly care about preventing crimes and saving lives. In their minds, it's "Guns bad. Ban them".

They are also very gullible and stupid. Whenever they see news about a mass shooting, they never once entertain the thought of whether it could be a false flag operation. They are simply unthinking and believe everything they are told. And if someone who actually thinks mentions the possibility, they jeer at and mock him, calling him a conspiracy theorist or some such. Anyone who doubts the usual media narratives is either paranoid or brainwashed or a Trumper. Now I am not saying that they were indeed false flag operations. I don't have proof for that. But at least I entertain and acknowledge the possibility of it. I don't immediately rule it out. But apparently, this is too much to ask of the left.

Realistically, I think we should adopt the following policy:
Black people never get guns
White people can't get guns until age 25 or they make over 200k per year
East Asians can't get guns until they are out of school
Hispanics can't get guns until all their daughters have had their quinceanera
Arabs can't get guns until they give up Islam

Fewer people b/c zero people dying from violence is unrealistic. Crazy people only account for like 1% of the gun homicides in the country. Most are domestic violence, gang violence, etc.

You are taking things too literally. What I meant is that to reduce deaths is not as good as to eliminate them.

Also, when you say it's "unrealistic", you are being defeatist. You have given up before you have even tried, simply because you think it will be too hard.

Why would we focus on crazy people when they only commit 1% of the gun homicides? Shouldn't we focus on gang violence before crazy people?

We can care about both at the same time.
