I am confused at the opposition of this bill.

Do people really think gender identification and sexual orientations should be openly discussed with 5-8 year old kids in school? I fail to see how any of this can even be argued against. I honestly haven't even heard a knock on it other than people saying it is transphobic/homophobic which makes zero sense.

It feels like a pretty common sense thing that anything sexual should not be discussed with kids who can't even spell sexual yet.

It's the lefty agenda. They want to make perverse things (like homosexuality and trans-sexuals) seem normal to kids, so that they might try to adopt these lifestyles when they are older. And they aim for the really young kids cause they are more impressionable.

Public schools shouldn't be forcing social, political or religious ideologies onto children, in the range from unseemly topics, to infringing on parental rights, to violating the 1st amendment. Schools can still teach topics like sex education, history and civics without imposing beliefs, but there's no excuse for teaching radicalized gender theories to kids in K-3. Its completely age inappropriate.

Its perverse because you're sexualizing the topic.

Nah. Sorry to break it to you, but things like homosexuality and transsexuality are inherently perverse. But keep defending them though.

I agree on all of that.

Any teachers personal beliefs or opinions should not be even remotely discussed in any class. Teaching kids actual facts is absolutely fine but don't purposely try and impose your own radical agendas on young vulnerable minds. Especially when the shit they are pushing onto them is highly controversial and has no place in a school setting regardless of the age of the students. No student should even know where on the political spectrum a teacher is. If teachers were throwing right wing ideas at kids I'd be upset.

I can't believe this is even a fucking issue tbh.

The people who are writing these laws are writing laws that allow marrying children. And it isn't because they want to marry children, it is because these people are profoundly stupid. They think that gender happens at puberty. These are people who get angry about teaching children about periods.

That has nothing to do with this topic.

You might as well bring up climate change too.
