A GOP candidate running for Michigan’s House of Representatives said during a Facebook live broadcast that he tells his daughters to “lie back and enjoy” rape if it’s “inevitable”
Robert “RJ” Regan (who won the state’s GOP special primary in the 74th district last week) said “having 3 daughters, I tell my daughters, “Well, If rape is inevitable, you should just lie back and enjoy it””
His own daughter cost him the same race in 2020 after a tweet of hers pleading for voters to not vote for her father went viral. He only won this time by 81 votes.
