Y'know I wasn't really buying the nazi stuff. I fully believed this was Ukraine as a proxy for Russian intent to self defence and security. Figured the nazi stuff was just excuses, and rather poor excuses to boot.

Then I read that, and suddenly it seemed less like a sketchy claim and more like holy shit there really is nazi wannabes in Ukraine. The former deputy prosecutor of Ukraine, live on BBC, saying he's upset because "European people with blonde hair and blue eyes being killed every day by Putin's missiles..."

What? Seriously? You actually went on tv and specified blonde hair and blue eyes? Ok now I'm leaning towards believing Putin entirely, which is a long looooooooong way away from where I was leaning.

It would still be no excuse to kill civilians.

It is not just to kill someone with the only reason being their beliefs, how twisted they might (or not) be.

Tell that to the German civilians in WW2.

Makes that Putin now a hero, because he ordered to kill civilians?

There are many wannabe nazis in many countries army, or even police force. I mean we have to admit, ppl who willingly choose these "professions" are often not the brightest ppl. Still no reason to invade.

Its a huge deal in the US Military if the find any "hate group" material.
