Hi Pard friends -

So i was curious to know how many paid leave you get by sector / job type ?
Is it dependant of the business, the state, random ?

Because i know the chart below is not really right since, depending of business, you got paid leaves (thus i have no idea how many)

So how many ? Is it enough ?

country a: in europe 1.75 per month, regardless of month size in days. So a total of 21 annually.

country b: where I work now, in europe, it's 25 days plus some other perks from the company (no working between xmas and ny for example).

country b: where I worked before, in europe, I had 22 days as a manager, a regular hire had 20.

I had colleagues in the US that had 10 PTO days per year and were considered lucky.

15 days paid at my current place. 6 paid sick days. 6 holiday pay. This is supposedly good benefits for the jurisdiction my employer is based in. Shitty compared to companies operating out of my state, but remote is nice.

Former job in my home state was 15 PTO 5 sick, 12 holiday. 20PTO after 5 years working there

No paternity leave.

That's decent so 2 weeks is better than 0. But I am curious how much your mac donald employees, seems its like 1 week.

Here we have 2.5 days / month so 30 days + 11 holidays (lost if it ticks on week end). Unlimited paid sick days.

Sometimes this is too much and it's cumulating over the next year, ending in things like two months leave etc...

/e it is also supposed to be 35 hours / week.

for the US, everyone had the same from my knowledge, from the lowest to the highest rank.

I hear companies now are raising this to 15 days for RFTs and everyone is so excited :P

You should consider salary pay vs hourly. In my case I work 55plus a week. 60-65 during seasonal rush. In some scenario salary based employment is terrible. Going to do corp to corp next, make my own benefits plan.

Either way a bootlicking manager and HR person will do their best to make sure you don't ever get to use them even if they exist.
