This whole cancel culture thing seems to be a pretty big deal these days what with the President of the free world being ban hammered etc. So, I'm asking the question

How many platforms have you been banned from? And was it unfair?

Getting a cdkey banned for botting, etc doesn't really count. I mean a place where social gatherings happen like a bar, library, game chatroom, workplace, etc. I've pissed a bunch of people off, but surprisingly I've never went so far to be banned.

Not to say that the culture hasn't forced me to reshape my behavior. Maybe I should make another poll about that... Social media only discriminatorily bans people who they suspect to A) be highly influential B ) cut against their political agenda.

Communication is a basic biological need in order to orient your thoughts properly within a community. Being a Republican in college today is like being a satanist in the 1950's, except I don't sacrifice goats.

The administrators at my college literally said "We don't need your kind of people here" when we asked them for a few hundred dollars funding to start a Libertarian Club on campus.

I mean sure, I can just lie and laugh about it, but is that really the kind of society we want to live in?

I'll take things that never happened for 500.

It did happen, 100%. Not much else happened to me though other than 1 or 2 stupid facebook cluster-f's.

just voted now actually, but it's still 0 because i haven't had my access removed from any social media platform

i don't think getting banned from a subreddit is quite the same thing

student councils are corrupt microcosms of the larger corrupt shitholes that city councils and government bodies turn out to be so i'm not entirely suprised
