Hello! I frequently hear about how bad the mainstream media is. Ironically it's often from people that watch the most popular news shows. Does anyone have any ideas about why this is?

2 types of MSM haters

Group 1: doesnt consider Fox New MSM, watches Fox News

Group 2: considered Fox News MSM too, watches bitchute and youtube "patriot freedom stand up for the anthem" bloggers for their news

Group 3: subscribes to counterpunch, democracy now!, and truth out and hates CNN, MSNBC, Bezos Post, Fox, Newsmax, etc.

Group 4, which dominates this forum: Doesn't think the MSM is a problem at all because they are braindead

Truth is there are only a very small handful of blogs out there worth reading. The rest is all hopelessly biased corrupted or agenda-driven trash, on both sides.

These are the only ones worth reading:

Moonofalabama.org

zerohedge.com (for non-geopolitical related things)

Maybe you could listen to Joe Rogan every now and then if he's interviewing someone actually worth listening to, like Tulsi Gabbard.

Everything else is either literally ran by the CIA or has gone off the deep end and corrupted themselves for clicks. You can't even turn on NPR these days without getting a huge dose of propaganda. It's all fucked.

Group 5:
Reads research based articles which take hours to find , before eventually giving up and find a prono site, because google throws opinion based huffingtonpost crap at you to make sure you can’t find factual data

Doesn't take that long to find reputable sources. I think that's more an indictment on your search skills than google.

Yes it does lol, unless biased articles are what suit your agenda then ofc its easy to find the research you desire. Try and research something against your current opinion on matters and report back how easy it is, unless like the typical normie you’re incapable of researching and understanding a topic that goes against your stance on things .
The average person that doesn’t really care and just trying to find factual information on google isn’t going to have an easy time and will likely give up.
I lean 50/50 and look for the actual studies
Also have a doctorate and have been on a Cochrane review team so I know how to research , its still a pain in the ass lol

Cause they're full of shit & fake news mixed with some relevance & good journalism from time to time, but their purpose isn't to inform of the truth in all matters, or even vary their subjects... or even dare to allow people finish two sentences cause they don't have upload space for that... It's lame, pointless corporate funded & edited propaganda & crowd control it's about. Not worth your time except once in a while just to see what kind of scheme their pulling at the moment.
