yeah yeah I get you, if you act in self defense, and your a law abiding person then you get acquitted and we all celebrate justice.

If your a felon and you act in self defense, you get acquitted of some charges, but still go away to prison for a long time for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and we all celebrate justice.

Can't recall this case but appears to be a no knock raid. Yes he fired back and poliece are trained to minimize the threat but is there no training that would suggest backing off from the residence and allowing de-escalation. Based on that short read it appears they largely had the place surrounded. Why just fire blindly into a home when you don't know how many people are in there and in what rooms.

Just another display of piss poor USA police training imo.
