Once said by John Adams (paraphrasing), "The Constitution is only effective when the People following it are moral and religious." Its pretty easy to tell by whose in the White House and the decisions being made if society adheres to Adam's statement.
Capitalism in the US would be way better off after shredding the IRS into a bajillion pieces and getting rid of unnecessary taxes along with the federal reserve. I agree on the fact the US government steals tax dollars, funds terrorism, and a load of other illegal things. Isnt it weird how politicians are always making millions off their shitty books?
Capitalism allows people to go from zero to hero, regardless of where theyre from. Its naïve to believe everyone can start life on equal footing, that is not how nature works. It takes varying degrees of effort and a little bit of luck as does anything. "Capitalism doesnt work because blah blah blah" translates to, "I dont have any good ideas and I am a lazy fuck and Im broke," says the person who chooses to party every weekend instead of improving themselves. The amount of work someone puts in directly correlates to the impact of the reward, it feels much better to earn what you have than it is for the government to manage everything.
You are right, capitalism is the dumbest and weakest system economically. But it is the fairest system and the strongest democratically.
Almost everyone with a good idea has a chance to get rich.
So if you want to destroy capitalism, the best thing to do is to give people opportunities and chances.
Even in France, there are apparatchiks: people who take advantage of their power and their money to dominate us ad vitam eternam.
