Been reading up on mlms lately and i was wondering why people don't just lose their shit and go after the predators who make a living off making families go broke. Was pleased to find that it does happen on occasion. Honestly we need more of these, just one disgruntled sales rep from each of these pyramid schemes needs to assassinate the heads of these orgs and it'd alleviate a lot of suffering.

My wife gets 3-5 private messages a month from old highschool/college friends that want her to join up with some MLM scam. She usually sends me the messages because I get a kick out of reading them. They are all from the same basic script and start with "Hey Girl!!! (emoji's inserted here).

She's gotten ones for shampoo, lulu-whatever, candles, herbalife, make ups, etc etc etc and they're all the same basic predatory pitch.

I feel truly bad for any family that gets sucked into these black hole companies. I only personally know one friend who got in deep with lulu and she lost $10,000+ over the course of a few years. She's still digging her way out of that hole.

They're insanely predatory.

MLMs and their like are the best proof yet that half of the problems women blame on the patriarchy are actually the result of female biology and their inherent trait of competing against other women. Make up, clothes, and all of the other bullshit beauty products men couldnt be asked to even notice, all sold to women by women in a predatory way to play on this biology.
