I wonder if he will address the thesis of the book which is rational authorities usurping traditional authorities, And capitalism removing the distinctions between all forms of labor by making them all measurable by the same metric.

Will watch.

Book is a short read to anyone but the Marjorie Taylor Greenes among us. So unless your as stupid as a Republican Congress person it is an easy read lol

We are talking about the Communist Manifesto by Marx, not failed agrarian tyrants. Marx theorized that the means of production would evolve to a point things were either automated or bastardized so much that all labor was more or less similar. It is post capitalism. You are talking about something pre-agrarian.

Josef Stalin would be a better example, he compressed 150 years of the industrial revolution the US had into about 30 years through collective will and a massive bloodbath then tried to force the next step. He also created situations that vex us today, such as the impending war in Crimea.

Pol Pot was something beyond belief.

just listening to intellectuals engaging in debates expands your vocabulary and point of view. Even if they may be incorrect in their assumptions
Always you can learn or further advance your cognitive abilities

JBP goes right into every assumption of the book and tears it apart.

ie: Why would anyone assume a society ruled by the proletariat would stop being corrupt? Especially after using violence to get there.

He exposes it as the satanic inversion of morality that it is - by showing how the book ignores its own assumptions by appealing to the readers thirst for power.

In 30 years the Chinese have compressed hundreds of years of industrial and post-industrial history. And while Stalin's Soviet Union has collapsed under the weight of economic incompetence, the Chinese of Deng Xiaoping are thriving.
