https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/11/politics/house-articles-of-impeachment/index.html

The House has released it's resolution to impeach President Donald Trump. If the impeachment succeeds(as it likely will), he will be the first president in history to be impeached twice. It is unlikely that the Senate convicts him, and conviction is required in order to disqualify him from running again(I believe).

The vast majority of the right-wing will oppose this effort, because they would like to pretend the past 2 months didn't happen. But it did, and there needs to be accountability.

Theres zero chance of this king of the tards gaining another okay from the republican national convention to run for president. But hey, if any of the fucking loons around wanna bet he stays in the country past the end of the month and not flee like the fucking pussy he [and by proxy, the rest of you] are, Im up for that.

Of course, just add more fuel to the fire you leftists and pretend like you aren’t doing anything. What a backwards world you live in. What a shame

One on one I would be able to kick your butt

unity and healing indeed. impeachment has already been made a mockery with clinton and trump getting “in trouble” for cucking congress before, this just debases it further into a partisan weaponry

If Trump wants the nomination again in 2024 it's his. Republicans are not going to learn any lessons from the last few days, or 2 months, or 4 years. Trump's power will lessen, but he's still a strong figure in the Republican party.

i'd love for senate/congress to have their costs made public. im curious what the actual dollar amount this attempt will cost US taxpayers, all to get rid of trump 9 days ahead of schedule.

Republican call for unity is more a call for pity imo

Actions have consequences

With that said, what’s the point because he has days in office anyway. If he had months left I would say sure
