it is an American website founded by an American for an American video game that was created by an American company.
so there’s that. as to why the OT section has a political subforum where descendants of surrendering national-socialist sympathizers from mainland Europe attempt to interfere in our elections, i guess they are bored
that’s the status quo here unfortunately. a lot of berned out lefties upset that ‘those’ people dont “behave the way they expect them to” so they just derail topics with delusional rants
Regarding the first portion of your response, to a point, I do agree. But JSP has never been marketed as, from, or to an American audience. In fact, huge amounts of effort were put into translations iirc. Instead, it's been a bastion of a global marketplace, which is part of why some games that're virtually non-existent in the US are still so popular for trading here. And looking at the nationality of the majority of respondents in PaRD specifically, it does not appear that "American" would be greater than all other nationalities combined.
Which leads back to the second part of your comment, and the entire basis of the topic. If the United States is not the only nation that exists, then we should probably have a better grasp of world politics, and we won't receive that grasp through our own media sources. We desperately need the viewpoints of those who are living through other forms of government, and other political systems. There's no way we can make informed choices based on being yelled at by socialists, when based on our own sources, those socialists are experiencing far worse shit than we are, right?
So, bring other politics to light. Let the "Trump Show" stick to it's own topic. If Boris is so important, make him a topic and keep it up to date, rather than making 500 more Trump-related topics that swamp everything else.
It's funny that all these non-Americans want to speak badly about "electing a reality show host" yet they've turned his Presidency into a reality show of their own. Again, more evidence that they don't really exist, except as an extension of us. As if the fact that any time we have a depression or recession, they have one too, that's worse, as a result weren't evidence. As if their defense, power, and food needs weren't evidence.
I see America as the lynchpin of the entire world. Even China couldn't maintain it's production without mass importation of Coal from the US. So... Where do we go from here? Apparently nowhere in the world has anything meaningful to say about itself, but can only talk about our President's tweets. Do we all just agree only the US really exists, the rest of everyone are just hangers on, hoping we can drag them along in our wake?
